Sharma has joined Transport Capital as Senior Director Europe, based out of our Hamburg office.<\/p>\n<p>Piyush blends outstanding financial, commercial and technical acumen in the maritime sector with over 23 years of experience across Europe, Asia and the Americas. Having started his career as a seafarer, he then worked in ship management, in banking with the world\u2019s largest shipping finance bank and lastly with project development companies. Piyush brings with him an extensive network of ship owners, institutional investors and banks.<\/p>\n<p>Piyush earned his MBA from the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark and a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Marine Engineering from the Marine Engineering &amp; Research Institute in India.<\/p>\n<p>Transport Capital\u2019s Head of Europe Oliver Faak remarked: \u201cHaving known Piyush for many years, I am pleased that he has now joined Transport Capital.
