Over the course of her career, she has completed over USD7 billion of debt and equity transactions. She is an expert in varied financial products and structures including capital raising, loan underwriting, private equity, securitization, corporate &amp; financial restructuring and mergers &amp; acquisitions.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining Transport Capital, MY has spent the last 12 years as CEO of Meriel Partners Co. Ltd. in Korea, an investment banking boutique firm specialised in the transportation and infrastructure sectors. Before Meriel Partners, she also worked for Jefferies &amp; Co and AMA Capital Partners in New York as Head of Asia.<\/p>\n<p>MY graduated from Ewha Womans University in 1993 majoring in Business Management.<\/p>\n<p>With MY joining the team, Transport Capital has also now added North America to its role as exclusive lending agent for shipping for Deka Bank, in addition to Asia Pacific and Greece. MY will lead the effort to source ship finance transactions for Deka with North America\u2019s leading ship owners.<\/p>\n<p>Transport Capital Managing Partner Philip Clausius remarked: \u201cI have known MY for about 20 years and I am very pleased that she has chosen to join us to help expand our North American and Korean activities.
