We are now looking to add an exceptional Junior Portfolio Manager to our growing practice, based in Oberursel, Germany. The ideal candidate will co-manage our thematic long\/short equity strategy around the transportation and energy industries.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities &amp; Accountabilities<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Daily supervision of collateral and margin requirements<\/li>\n<li>Monitor market risk<\/li>\n<li>Perform sector research in the areas of transportation and energy<\/li>\n<li>Write-up research reports and sector-specific articles<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly performance reports including attribution analysis<\/li>\n<li>Prepare Presentation Materials both in German end English Language<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree, with emphasis on Finance, Economics, Mathematics or similar<\/li>\n<li>Progression towards or completion of a professional qualification (e.g. CFA, CAIA) is desirable but not a requirement<\/li>\n<li>1-2 years of professional work experience in financial institutions, asset management, banking, financial consulting or similar<\/li>\n<li>Skills and Competencies<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English and German with good interpersonal and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate with particular emphasis on MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint) and email. Exposure to Financial Modeling in Excel is an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Attentive to detail, able to build and maintain work relationships, and willing to learn<\/li>\n<li>Highly motivated Individual<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Seahawk Investments offers an exciting entrepreneurial environment and aims to provide beneficial career exposure for highly motivated candidates.
